The group, called the US-India Strategic and Commercial Dialogue, was formed last year by a group of Indian-American business leaders and is seeking to build relationships between the two countries' businesses.
Modi is scheduled to visit the United States from June 21-24. He is expected to meet with President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and other top US officials. He is also scheduled to address a joint session of Congress.
The address to the US-India Strategic and Commercial Dialogue would be Modi's first speech to a business group since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The speech would give Modi an opportunity to promote India as a business destination and to discuss the importance of the US-India relationship.
