CSBC Bihar Police Constables Recruitment 2023

The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 21391 Constables in Bihar Police, Bihar Special Armed Police and other units. The online application process will commence on June 20, 2023 and the last date to apply is July 20, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for the CSBC Bihar Police Constables Recruitment 2023:

·        Age: The candidate must be between 18 years and 28 years of age as on 01.01.2023.

·        Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10th standard from a recognized board.

·        Physical Requirements: The candidate must fulfill the following physical requirements:

o   Height: 168 cm for male and 152 cm for female

o   Chest: 80 cm for male and 76 cm for female

o   Weight: 50 kg for male and 45 kg for female

·        Other Requirements: The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Application Process

The application process for the CSBC Bihar Police Constables Recruitment 2023 is online. The candidates can apply for the post by visiting the official website of CSBC at https://www.csbc.bih.nic.in/. The application fee is ₹500 for General/OBC candidates and ₹250 for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process

The selection process for the CSBC Bihar Police Constables Recruitment 2023 will be as follows:

·        Written Examination: The written examination will be of objective type and will be conducted in Hindi and English. The questions will be based on General Knowledge, Mathematics, and Reasoning.

·        Physical Endurance Test (PET): The PET will consist of the following events:

o   100 meters race

o   Long jump

o   High jump

o   Shot put

·        Medical Examination: The candidates who clear the PET will be subjected to a medical examination.

·        Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination, PET, and medical examination.

Salary and Perks

The selected candidates will be appointed as Constables in Bihar Police. The starting salary of a Constable in Bihar Police is ₹25,000 per month. The Constables will also be eligible for other benefits such as medical facilities, leave, and pension.
